NTT- Training Capabilities

  • Training in tactical procedures for the Combat Information Center task force
  • Training in procedures involving the flow of information necessary to generate the tactical situation assessment
  • BVR's NTT supports the following types of naval operations, individually or in any combination in a single scenario as defined by the training requirement:
    • Naval Surface Warfare
    • Anti-Submarine Warfare
    • Anti-Aircraft Warfare
    • Counter-terrorism operations
    • Electronic Warfare
    • Mine Warfare
    • Landing Operations
    • Littoral Operations
    • Asymmetrical Threats
    • Helicopter, Naval Aircraft, and Air Support Controller training
  • Advanced Computer Generated Forces (CGF) - BVR's NTT includes advanced CGF supporting the animation of a realistic complex scenario. All CGF are defined by the users based on up-to-date intelligence information and userdefined operating doctrines
  • Modular Design - BVR's NTT design is fully modular, enabling future growth by adding additional cubicles, exercise control consoles, and simulation models
  • Enhancing Simulation Models - New simulation models supporting new types of sensors can easily be introduced, thereby, extending the lifespan of the trainer
  • Support for simulation of datalink, voice communication including radio communication using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology
