Hybrid Air Defence Embedded Simulator (HADES)

The Hybrid Air Defence Embedded Simulator (HADES) is an innovative live training solution, which is integrated to various Short and Medium Range Air Defense systems. HADES provides networked and distributed mission training to air defense operators in the field by creating realistic battlespace conditions, including both live and virtual participants.

HADES is a multi-level training system, allowing training of air defence forces from operator to battalion level, in scenarios constructed from pure virtual threats, through scenarios involving real aircraft fitted with the EHUDTM ACMI system and the In Flight Electronic Warfare Simulator (IFEWS), to hybrid scenarios involving both real and virtual threats.

The interoperability with the Naval Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (NCMI), as well as with EHUDTM and IFEWS, allows Joint Force training capabilities. HADES can be interfaced with the Air Defence Simulator (ADS), thus featuring virtual and live combined training.
